Folio Developement Lesson 1 16.2.2010

Lesson 1 16.2.2010

The newly introduced class; folio development, allows us as students to develop our own sense of direction in what style of photography we enjoy and would like to pursue in the future as a potential career choice. We have a lot of freedom to develop our own idea's and to share with fellow students photographs and photographers that we admire or give us inspiration to our own photography path.

The first lesson was basically just getting to know one another and particularly for Belinda to get a sense of what direction each of us likes. Whilst being quite embarrassed to talk in front of the group it was fascinating to learn a bit of background information about my fellow students as well as Belinda's photographic background. It was very interesting to find out what genres of photography each person likes ranging from fashion to wildlife photography and portraiture to documentary photography. Will definitely enjoy the discussion side of this class and looking forward to seeing what the next lesson will hold. =]
